Dragoncharmer

I drew this in high school at a time when I became obsessive about drawing. I drew on the tabs between my class notebooks. Usually dragons and chicks.
I can see the influences of Boris Vallejo and Larry Elmore.

    Do you think the position of the dragon in the picture was influenced by the Basic D&D picture you've reproduced in the right-hand column of your blog?

    That is an incredibly piece of black-and-white work. I'm going to send a copy to a painter I know in the hope that it will inspire her to imitate it.
